- 2018. Juna Kollmeier's and my paper "Can moons have moons?" received a ridiculous amount of attention from the press. Here are links to the paper, my blog post, and a few of the many articles.

- 2018. Our new, 'Early Instability' model for Solar System formation (which provides an alternative to other models like the Grand Tack) was featured in several articles (e.g., here and here). Paper here. My blog post (also picked up by the Planetary Society) here.
- 2018. My blog post about how to build a planetary system in which a planet remains in permanent daytime was featured in a Space.com article.

- 2017. My new paper about the "empty primordial asteroid belt" was published in Science Advances and featured in a number of news stories (a few examples here, here and here; my blog post here).
- 2017. My paper demonstrating a new (simpler and more robust) origin for Earth's water was featured by Seeker.com and Sci-News.com. (Full paper here. My blog post here).
- 2017. My blog post about how to pack more than 400 planets onto stable orbits within a Sun-like star's habitable zone was picked up by IFLScience.
- 2017. I was part of the team that discovered the 7-Earth-sized-planet TRAPPIST-1 system. I wrote a poem for my blog that was picked up by the press.
- 2016. Our work on the habitability of Proxima b got a lot of press (including a poem on my blog)
- 2016. In a blog post I proposed that Planet Nine may be an exoplanet captured from another star. That stimulated a project confirming this possibility, and the ensuing paper was featured in the news. Scientific paper here: Mustill et al (2016).
- 2016. My paper proposing that Jupiter's core may have formed very close to the Sun was featured in Science News. (Original article here).
- 2015. My Aeon article about life on free-floating planets was picked up by several news outlets (see here).

- 2014. I was profiled for Astrobiology magazine after my talk at the Habitable Worlds across Space and Time conference (at Space Telescope Science Institute). You can see the talk here.
- 2014. I played a key role in the discovery of Kepler-186f, an Earth-sized planet in the habitable zone of a cool star. Here is my blog post. The official SETI press release.
